Real Art Design Group

In June, 2009 Kent Development Group completed the construction of the 17,800 square foot building for the Real Art Design Group.  Their new spaces consist of a large open design studio (addition over the existing CMU building, a new center lunch room area and a new three story residential tower to the west (towards Brixx).  The exterior is clad with cement fiber panels, cor-ten steel and stucco.  Interior cladding consists of bamboo paneling, MDF paneling and exposed framing.

Kent Development Group continues installation of the cement fiber panels; the exterior cladding for the future Real Art Design Studio.  Interior wise, drywall is being finished within the eastern most design studio and the middle lunch room.  Within the residential tower to the west, we are finishing up the rough mechanicals then hanging of drywall shortly afterwards.  We are proposing to turn the building over to Real Art, mid April and look forward to catching a few Dayton Dragon ball games from one of the two party decks.

Residence. This classic colonial located in west Oakwood was repainted, reroofed and new landscaping was installed. In addition, we installed new 1/2 round metal gutters complimenting its stately appearance. We also replaced all the windows and refinished the hardwood floors

Rear elevation of the Pearson additionIn the back we added a new two story addition consisting of a first floor office/guest bedroom and full bath. On the second floor we added a new master bathroom. We removed the existing brick and reinstalled it on the new rear addition.

Nenninger Residence

Nenninger KitchenFor this family located in Franklin, Ohio, we constructed a two story addition consisting of a new first floor kitchen with adjoining family room. Above on the second floor the Nenningers are enjoying a new master bathroom addition. Thanks to the abundance of Pella windows all the new spaces are enjoying the southern sun exposure. In addition, the new master bathroom boasts a lovely Tuscan themed walk-in ceramic tile shower area.

Lampe/Burdick Residence

As the homeowners were expecting a new arrival to their family, Lampe exterior elevationKent Development Group was contracted to add a home office and a casual dining room. The existing screened-in porch seemed to be the best location for the new spaces, but the homeowners did not want to loose their porch. Therefore, we enclosed the existing porch, raised the floor level and conditioned the spaces. In addition, we constructed a new screened porch to the rear of the residence. Now the homeowners can enjoy their new spaces that all flow with each other.

Leitch Residence

The Leitch project consisted of renovating their
master bedroom and Leitch Residence patio roof coveradding a patio roof cover.
The 12′ x 28′ patio cover has exposed joists, vaulted ceilings and four skylights. Inside the house, we relocated a couple of interior walls and then were able to install an oversized jetted tub, custom shower, ceramic tile floors and modernize their master suite. We also increased the natural lighting of the bedroom by installing a new Pella, bay window unit.
